Amenities at Highland Country Club

Highlands Country Club offers a wide assortment of amenities ranging from Golf, Croquet and Tennis to Canoeing, Personal Training and Yoga. Highlands, NC boasts many beautiful waterfalls and hikes just minutes from the Club as well as world class shopping and dining.

The superbly conditioned course is carved out of mountain wilderness with meandering creeks and a challenging Donald Ross design, creating a combination of tradition and old world charm.

Croquet

Our croquet facility is one of the finest facilities in the country, attracting players of all ages who come to enjoy organized play and a charming social atmosphere. Members enjoy interclub matches as well as clinics and professional instruction. Every Tuesday and Thursday, our tremendously active Strikers sponsor an evening of "Wine and Wickets".

Exercise

In the spring of 2014 the Club completed a major renovation and expansion of our Life Enhancement Center. The LEC features massage therapy, certified personal trainers, a heated saltwater swimming pool, Har-Tru tennis courts, state-of-the-art aerobic equipment and numerous organized member activities. This enhanced facility is open year-round. It serves as our informal winter gathering place.

Bridge Club

All skill levels of bridge games are available at the Clubhouse throughout the season. A friendly, sanctioned Duplicate game is held every Saturday morning in the Bob Jones Room of the Clubhouse. Each year the Club sponsors one or more seminars by world-renowned bridge teachers and authors.

Camp Highlands

Campers from 5 to 10 years of age make the annual trek to Camp Highlands where friendships are established and nurtured over the years. We also offer a Junior Golf Camp, in addition to other activities and special events for the younger generation.

Outdoor Activities

Canoeing, Kayaking, Hiking A beautiful day will find members canoeing and kayaking on Lake Sequoyah or hiking with a group via a myriad of trails around the area.

Dining

Members and their guests enjoy a hospitable evening in one of our warm and welcoming dining areas, from formal dining to our casual 1928 Tavern, to our golfer's turn and counter service facility in an all new Hudson House.
